I am a professor at Telecom SudParis, head of the Networks and Telecommunication Services department. My activity is related to the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) security, including network and information systems security. While I have been heavily involved in intrusion detection research in the past and am still conducting research in the area, I am today focusing on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), with an emphasis on automated threat mitigation.

Teaching

My teaching area is focused on ICT security. I am responsible for the M2 master specialty Networks and Systems Security, training about 24 students in the field every year. The training focuses on practical work and covers all of the areas of security. I am interested in internships and job proposals for the students, in specialization projects with external partners, as well as proposals for classes. The complete curriculum is available here (in french).

Research

I am involved in several research projects at the European and French level, related to ICT security. I am particularly interested in mitigation systems, i.e. the ability to limit the effects of attacks on systems. I also advise several PhD students, either locally or remotely.

Hiring applications

I am always interested in hiring applications, for post-doc and research engineer positions, to work in the area of information systems security. Please refer to the Hiring page for more information.
